3 Dwarf Girls (Scibor) finished !

Today I was able to finish the 3 Dwarf females from Scibor miniatures.
I really like these miniatures , they're beautifully sculpted and easy to paint. ( no assembly required / they're of one piece )
This one is painted in the Dwarf Warrior color-scheme.
This one is painted in the Dwarf Thunderer color-scheme.
And this one is painted in a neutral color-scheme with Dwarf colors I used throughout the army.
I hope to score some more Scibor / Reaper / Spellcrow Dwarf female miniatures at Crisis 2016 next week.
As these are the 3 brands that have the nicest Dwarf females that I know of.
If you know of more , don't hesitate to let me know !
Family picture of all the Dwarf females I own and are painted. From left to right : 3 x Scibor , 2 x Spellcrow , GW and Reaper.

And finally 3 Spellcrow miniatures ( Halflings ) that I used to represent Dwarf Girls.

Paint Table Saturday 156th edition ! 3 years old !

Paint Table Saturday 156th edition !
Welcome to paint table 156 !
The Paint Table Saturday community is as of this week 3 years old !
Hip , hip , hurrah !
So this week I started  with some Scibor Dwarf girls. Base colors and some washes. They're in various states of completion.

I started painting on the converted Liberator. ( Egypt themed for my Tomb King army )
Gold only ( base , wash & drybrush ) , needs highlighting but that's for later. First the other colors.

And last the Dwarf ship from Dreadfleet.
It's the second one ( ship of the box ) I'm painting. So far only silver + wash.
I'm planning to build this Dwarf ship in a bigger size. ( some day , as I have a million things here still to do , more than 1000 miniatures that need painting )
That's the plan , and when I figure all things out , the work will begin.

That's it for now ...
See the finished model(s) ( or more progress ) in the next post or on my new Facebook-page.

I wish you all a great weekend !

Chaos : Pink Horrors finished !

I just finished 10 Pink Horrors.
I used the same color-scheme as the Pink Horrors from the Warhammer Quest Silver Tower box.

I really love the vibrant colors of the pink , purple , blue , yellow &  flames.
And I had great fun doing them.

I had to create some form of base to put them on as I did not have the right size here.
So I used an other base and magnets to hold them in place. ( on the pictures you see one of them was out of position )
Perhaps I find a more suitable base at Crisis Antwerp next week. ( 05 / 11 / 2016 )

Pink Horrors

Tzeentch creates almost all of them as cheerful, madly babbling Pink Horrors. Apart from their bright colouration, Pink Horrors are also notable for their madly happy demeanour; their constantly emitted noises of almost ecstatic excitement give rise to the two other names by which they are sometimes known; the Squealer or Screamer (although, fittingly enough for such a confusing and hard to understand entity as Tzeentch, a separate Tzeentchian daemon exists that is referred to as a Screamer, which appears completely different to Screaming Horrors). This inherently random noise, especially when Pink Horrors appear in groups, is said to be particularly unnerving, able to drive the weak-minded to insanity. To add to the cacophony of sensory perceptions, Pink Horrors leave trails of pink smoke and light behind them as they move; and they move constantly, running, scampering and caterwauling all over the place.

Just like other Daemons of Tzeentch they are capable of sorcery. Depending on the might of a Horror, this sorcery can range from the common hurling of warp flames or Bolts of Change to more exotic powers, such as the creation of arcane items from their bodies or the manipulation of mortal minds by imitating strange and exotic musical instruments. The most powerful Horrors belong to the ranks of the Daemonic Heralds, some of which ride Burning Chariots of Tzeentch.

Pink Horrors enjoy casting spells and such aggressive acts will only spur them onto to wilder behaviour and greater expressions of manic excitement. Horror Packs rely heavily on their ranged sorcerous attacks but even in melee they are difficult to deal with. Although weaker than most other daemons in close combat, their magical, twisting bodies are hard to destroy; they enjoy a contradictory blessing of Tzentch that makes their highly mutable forms resistant to change inflicted by external forces and can in fact regenerate whole limbs with ease. Upon dying (something else which appears to provide them with unnatural delight), they magically transform into two Blue Horrors with a final whoop of happiness.

Paint Table Saturday 155th edition !

Paint Table Saturday 155th edition !
Welcome to paint table 155 !
I've started on 10 Pink Horrors.
I assembled them and basecoated them white. Then I airbrushed the base color , washed it with red tone wash from Armypainter and finally dry-brushed it with pink.
That's it so far.

I hope you have a great weekend !

Paint Table Saturday 153th edition !

Paint Table Saturday 153th edition !
Welcome to paint table 153 !
Not much happening on the paint table.
I've started painting on a Draconian Guard. I've redone the dragons skin as I wasn't happy with my first attempt ( to much white - many moons ago ) and now I'm as happy as can be with the result.

And the other one is a Stormcast Eternal Liberator conversion.
I've used some Stygian nobles bitz from Kromlech ( head , weapon and shoulder-pads ) to turn this fella into a Egyptian God for my Tomb Kings army.
 That's it for now ...
I hope you had a great weekend !
